NTEU4U MAY DAY PROMOTIONS!

For the month of May NTEU will share with you who we are and why we believe you should join our community. 

To celebrate with our membership we will also be running three competitions with some fun prizes - the winners of which will be announced during a live online lucky draw event!

The main objective of these annual promotions is to broadcast the good work and sacrifices made by our colleagues who choose to represent our interests at the negotiation table. They sacrifice their time, energy and often their own job security, to ensure that we get to go into our workspaces unburdened by the politics and conflict. And when we need it the most they form the wall of protection around us that weather the storms and conflicts within higher education. For most NTEU is the obvious union of choice on campus and we invite all staff to take a closer look and see if your values resonate with the only non-political national union in Higher Education!

The National Tertiary Education Union is pleased to announce the May Day Promotions in celebration of the good work done by unions!

How does this work?

• Each new member application equals one ticket into the respective competition.
• There are no limit to how many tickets may be entered.
• Make sure the referrer/recruiter is correctly noted.

How do I enter?

• Submit applications to your local branch or;
• Apply online via www.nteu.org.za or;
• Email applications to membership@nteu.org.za or;
• Upload picture of completed applications on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram

QUALIFIYING CRITERIA AND RULES (Terms & Conditions)

1. Copy of the subscription form must be sent to the National Administrative Office to be eligible for the prizes
2. Forms must be sent to membership@nteu.org.za to qualify, OR,
3. Can apply via the website at www.nteu.org.za/apply (BECOME A MEMBER Tab)
4. Must include referral by an existing member or official
5. New members are viewed as existing members upon successful application through the form or website - from there they are then also allowed to join the promotion as existing members
6. All existing members are eligible for these promotions
7. Submissions after 31 May 2024, 17h00pm, will not qualify for these promotions
8. NTEU reserves the right to withdraw this campaign without notice and/or extend it
