NTEU is apolitical (not aligned to any political party). This is an intentional value aimed at avoiding external influences and safeguarding the mandate of our members!
WHY JOIN A UNION?
Joining a Union is like taking out an insurance policy, it is only when you are in need that you realise your investment.
You can also approach your Union for advice on retirement, retrenchment, employment issues etc.
Perhaps the greatest advantage of being a Union member is that whenever confronted with adversity in the work place you will not be alone, but have access to professional representation and assistance!
